Mr. Sauce is built on a simple belief: sauce makes everything better.
From backyard barbecues to family gatherings, our mission is to create bold, unforgettable craft sauces that bring people together and keep them coming back for seconds.
In 1998, while working at a storied barbecue restaurant in Petersburg, Virginia, a 16-year-old boy fell in love with sauce. Twenty-two years later, he decided he would finally do what he loved. And so, Mr. Sauce was born. The Mr. Sauce journey includes countless test batches, backyard barbecues, stained recipe books, and – equally importantly – plenty of laughs along the way.
Today, Mr. Sauce is proud to introduce Carolina Gold and KC Smack — two signature sauces crafted for ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and just about anything else that deserves more flavor.
We are not just a barbecue sauce company. We are a sauce company. That means barbecue sauces today, and whatever delicious idea comes next tomorrow.
One thing, however, remains non-negotiable: we do NOT put sauce on steak, and we will never make a steak sauce. If you put Mr. Sauce on a steak, he will find you. And he will be disappointed.
Everything else is fair game. So fire up the grill, gather your friends, and put some sauce on that baby.
